Editorial Standards

Every page on this site follows the same rule we apply to our products: publish the numbers, cite the sources, and be plain about what is and isn’t established. This page describes exactly how Knowledge Center content gets researched, written, reviewed, and updated.

How we research

• Research-based articles are built from primary sources: peer-reviewed journals, PubMed-indexed studies, and published chemistry. Citations link to the source — DOI or PubMed — not to other blogs.
• Equipment content is built from our own measurements: concentration charts are measured per setting on production units, not copied from component datasheets.
• Where we reference our own product data (peroxide values, ppm figures, LC-MS characterization), we publish the underlying documents as they become available.

What we will and won’t claim

• Ozone equipment and ozonated products are not FDA approved, and governing health authorities do not endorse ozone for health uses. We sell equipment and publish information; decisions about use are yours.
• We do not make disease or cure claims — in articles, product pages, or anywhere else.
• Where research is early-stage — small studies, animal models, unreviewed preprints — the article says so in plain language.

How articles are reviewed

• Every article names its author. Credentials are listed on the editorial team page, with links to verify them independently.
• Equipment and specification articles are reviewed by our founder before publishing. The numbers themselves come from per-machine measurement and calibration by the Simply O3 service team (Ian Hall, Service Specialist).
• Health-adjacent articles will carry a named physician reviewer as our reviewer program rolls out; each reviewed article shows the reviewer’s name and review date. No article displays a “Reviewed by” line unless that review has actually happened.
• Reviewers are compensated for editorial review and hold no ownership stake. Reviewer relationships are disclosed on the team page.

How content stays current

• Each article shows its last-reviewed date. Articles are re-reviewed when new research publishes, when our product specifications change, or at least every 12 months.
• Corrections: if you find an error, email info@simplyo3.com with subject “Correction.” Substantive corrections are made in the article with the reviewed date updated.
