Ozone Oils

Ozonated oils are the oldest and most-studied topical format in the ozone world - the original literature goes back over a century. When ozone reacts with the unsaturated fatty acids in plant oils, it forms stable oxygenated compounds that give the oil a thicker texture, a characteristic scent, and its distinctive properties.

This section covers the practical side of using ozonated oils: oil pulling as an oral practice, oils in massage and bodywork settings, and how encapsulated ozonated oil compares with the jarred format. Our oils are produced by a cold process at 48F, standardized by measured peroxide value (600, 800, and 1,200 tiers) with third-party testing, and certified under COSMOS organic and ISO manufacturing standards - details we publish because potency claims in this category are meaningless without a number attached.

If you're deciding between an oil and Glyzine(TM) for skincare, the comparison article in our Ozonated Glycerin guide covers the differences.
