Every Simply O3 ozone generator is electrically tested and calibrated at our headquarters before it ships, carries the CE mark, and is backed by a lifetime warranty on the whole machine and a 6-month return window.
This page records how the Stratus 3.0 and the Cumulus are built, what we check before each one leaves, and what we promise after you own it. The warranty and return terms match our return and warranty policy, which is the governing document.
What is inside a Simply O3 ozone generator?
The Stratus 3.0 gas path is made of quartz glass, research-grade titanium and silicone. The Cumulus gas path is a double-wall quartz glass reactor and silicone. Both models make ozone by cold corona discharge. The gas path is every part the oxygen and the ozone touch on the way through the machine.
Materials matter because ozone is a strong oxidizer. A material that reacts with it breaks down and can add contaminants to the gas. Quartz glass, research-grade titanium and silicone resist ozone, which keeps the output free of contaminants from the machine itself. Our guide to ozone-compatible materials goes deeper on how to check any material.
Cold corona discharge makes ozone from the oxygen you feed in without adding heat. Both models run on pure oxygen from a tank, so see how to get an oxygen tank before you order.
How is every generator tested before it ships?
Each unit goes through two checks at Simply O3 headquarters before it is packed: an electrical safety test and an ozone concentration calibration.
The electrical test confirms the unit powers up and runs safely. The calibration measures the output of that individual machine, and the result is a concentration chart fitted to it. That is why the chart that arrives with your generator describes your unit. The Stratus 3.0 is also calibrated for use with the Ozone+ regulator you select at checkout.
Is Simply O3 equipment certified?
The Stratus 3.0 and the Cumulus both carry the CE mark. The CE mark is the European Union conformity marking for products sold in that market.
What does the lifetime warranty cover?
The Stratus 3.0, the Cumulus and every oxygen regulator we sell carry a lifetime warranty, for as long as you own them. The warranty applies to the whole machine, meaning all of its parts and components, and if something goes wrong that is not user damage, we fix it.
When you compare warranties from different ozone generator makers, ask what the word “lifetime” applies to. Some makers cover only the ozone cell, the part that produces ozone, for life and give the rest of the unit a shorter term. Ours covers the entire generator and the regulator.
What the warranty does not cover:
- User damage, such as drops or submersion.
- Oil or water pulled back into the reactor. That repair carries a charge.
- Accessories such as bags and syringes. We will exchange or credit anything that arrives defective.
- Generators bought secondhand from someone other than us. The warranty is not transferable.
How does a repair work?
- Fill out the return, repair or exchange form. It takes about two minutes and issues your RMA number.
- Pack the unit well and ship it to our facility.
- We repair or replace it and ship it back to you free of charge. Most repairs leave our facility within 1 to 2 business days of arriving.
Repairs and support are handled by our US-based team. You can also call 844.655.2524 on weekdays, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Eastern. International customers pay shipping in both directions.

How does the 6-month return policy work?
You can return any Simply O3 ozone generator within 6 months (180 days) for a full refund of the device price, minus shipping. You pay to ship it back to us, and we take care of the rest. Refunds go to your original payment method.
We use six months because ozone equipment is not an impulse purchase. It takes a few weeks to sort out your oxygen supply, learn the settings and fit a routine into your week, and thirty days is barely enough time to unbox it and read the manual. If it turns out to be the wrong fit after a real trial, you can send it back. A window this long is one of the ways we back the product.
Conditions to know before you order:
- Orders over $9,000 carry a 25% restocking fee, applied two weeks after purchase.
- No generator returns are accepted after 6 months.
- Ozone oils, Glyzine, accessories bought separately, and our laundry and hot tub generators have different return windows. The full return policy by product lists each one.
Which Simply O3 generator is built for whom?
The Stratus 3.0 is made for home users. It offers 11 settings across about 5 to 75 ug/mL, and the settings vary slightly from unit to unit.
The Cumulus is built for professionals who use ozone in their business. It covers about 5 to 100 ug/mL, and each unit has a concentration chart fitted to that machine. It also suits a home user who wants more versatility than the Stratus 3.0.
Both carry the same lifetime warranty and the same 6-month return window. For a side-by-side view, read what is the difference between the ozone generators, or see what is the difference between the kits. Qualified professionals can also look at the Professional Program.
