In this guide you will learn:
Ozone compatibility is the question and a valid concern. A lot of people are worried that ozone will break down components and create toxic byproducts. We share this concern, which is why we used standards set forward by the International Scientific Committee of Ozone (ISCO3.org) to build our machines.
Ozone compatibility defines which materials break down when exposed to ozone. Some materials will break down really quickly from ozone and put contaminants into the gas. Some materials do not break down at all when exposed to ozone and allow for a pure ozone gas. You could produce contaminants if you have the wrong materials in an ozone generator. Ensuring the internal components are 100% ozone resistant is vital to purity.
Materials typically have a rating between A - D, describing their resistance to ozone.
Sure, our machines are politically correct. But they also give
PURE CONCENTRATIONS of ozone. Instead of using
materials that can break down, these ozone generators use
100% ozone resistant materials for ultimate purity - quartz
glass, titanium, and silicone. It sounds like P.C. could also
stand for pretty cool. Each component has an "A" rating, which means it will not
interact with ozone!
You get 100% pure ozone!
Here is a list of materials we use inside of our machines. All the materials are 100% ozone resistant and will produce 100% pure ozone-oxygen gas.
Well, I wanted to provide a few 3rd party websites so you can validate the resistance of these materials:
