Ozone Compatibility

Find Health.  Be Informed.  Feel Confident.

What materials are inside your generators?

In this guide you will learn:

  • What ozone compatibility is
  • What materials we use in our machine and why
  • How to know what is ozone resistant
  • The highest authority on ozone safety

Ozone compatibility is the question and a valid concern. A lot of people are worried that ozone will break down components and create toxic byproducts. We share this concern, which is why we used standards set forward by the International Scientific Committee of Ozone (ISCO3.org) to build our machines.

What is ozone compatibility?

Ozone compatibility defines which materials break down when exposed to ozone. Some materials will break down really quickly from ozone and put contaminants into the gas.  Some materials do not break down at all when exposed to ozone and allow for a pure ozone gas.  You could produce contaminants if you have the wrong materials in an ozone generator.  Ensuring the internal components are 100% ozone resistant is vital to purity.

Materials typically have a rating between A - D, describing their resistance to ozone.

Our generators get an "A" for P.C.

Sure, our machines are politically correct.  But they also give PURE CONCENTRATIONS of ozone.  Instead of using materials that can break down, these ozone generators use 100% ozone resistant materials for ultimate purity - quartz glass, titanium, and silicone. It sounds like P.C. could also stand for pretty cool.  Each component has an "A" rating, which means it will not interact with ozone! You get 100% pure ozone!

The materials we use in our machines

Here is a list of materials we use inside of our machines.  All the materials are 100% ozone resistant and will produce 100% pure ozone-oxygen gas.

  • Quartz Glass
  • 316 Stainless Steel
  • Medical Grade Titanium
  • Silicone

How do I know what is ozone resistant?

Well, I wanted to provide a few 3rd party websites so you can validate the resistance of these materials:

Certified by the highest authority

You may have noticed, we have an ozone generator called the "Ozonette."  This machine has a IIb CE certification on it, which means that it is medically certified in Europe!  Many years of work and resources went into getting this certification for the Ozonette.  To date, it is the highest standard of certification that has EVER been given to an ozone generator.

A large part of getting the Ozonette IIb certified was safety.  Safety is the number one concern.  We had to ensure every aspect of the machine was safe for use, including the ozone resistance.  The CE Medical Federation, which is the highest authority on ozone to date, did some digging and found both 316SS and Titanium to be ozone resistant.   Many other organizations have backed this up, such as the International Scientific Committee of Ozone.
