We make most of our ozonated products in-house, but for ozonated olive oil, we did a worldwide search for a manufacturer who could meet three criteria:
The manufacturer that best meets all three is based in Europe, where ozone has been a part of mainstream medicine for more than a century.
That’s a long trip, but we think it’s worth every mile.

Good Manufacturing Practices for Cosmetic Ingredients

Organic Olive Oil

Strict standards ensure the final product is 120 peroxide value, so it’s safe for sensitive mouth tissue.
Third-party tested organic, extra virgin olive oil. No solvents. No additives.
Cold-processed at 48°F to avoid the formation of aldehydes, including formaldehyde.
Most ozonated oils on the market are produced at room temperature or warmer, which accelerates ozonation but comes at a cost:
Heat drives the formation of aldehydes, including formaldehyde, along with other inflammatory byproducts. Our olive oil is ozonated at a steady 48°F over a much longer period.
The resulting product is higher in the beneficial compounds you want, and lower in the inflammatory byproducts you don't.

Most ozonated oils on the market are produced at room temperature or warmer. Heat speeds up ozonation.
It also creates aldehydes, including formaldehyde, along with other inflammatory byproducts.
We ozonate ours at a steady 48°F over a much longer period.
The result is more of the ozonides and peroxides you want, and less of the byproducts you don't.

Oil pulling is an Ayurvedic oral care ritual that goes back thousands of years. You swish a tablespoon of oil in your mouth for 10 to 20 minutes, then spit it out. We took that ritual and rebuilt it with cold-processed ozonated olive oil and a hint of peppermint.
Olive oil is the traditional Ayurvedic choice. We also chose it for the chemistry. Its unsaturated fatty acid profile bonds with ozone to form the ozonides and peroxides our product is built around. Coconut oil is much more saturated, so it doesn't ozonate the same way.
Three organic ingredients, and nothing else.
• Organic ozonated extra virgin olive oil
• Organic extra virgin olive oil
• Organic peppermint oil
No fillers. No solvents. No additives.
Peroxide value is a direct measurement of the ozonides and peroxides created when ozone bonds with the unsaturated fatty acids in olive oil. The higher the number, the more potent the oil. Our oil pulling solution comes in at 120, calibrated for topical use in the mouth. (Our ozone oil capsules, designed for oral ingestion, come in at 600.) Most brands won't tell you their peroxide value, usually because they don't know it themselves.
Regular olive oil is a food. Ozonated olive oil has been chemically transformed by ozone gas into something structurally different: thicker, more shelf-stable, and far more potent. They look similar. They behave very differently.
Swish 1 tablespoon vigorously for 15 minutes after brushing. Spit it into a trash can (don't spit into the sink, oil can clog pipes). Rinse with clean water.
Olive oil is yellow, so it's a fair worry. In practice, oil pulling doesn't stain teeth. You're swishing and spitting (not letting the oil sit), and you rinse with water afterward. The oil never has prolonged contact with your enamel. See our reviews to hear what real customers say about their experience.
We'll be honest: the taste is the biggest adjustment for first-time users. Ozonated oil has a flavor profile that surprises people: green, herbaceous, and clean, with notes some compare to fresh rain, cut grass, or green tea.The peppermint softens it. It doesn't disappear.
That taste is the product working. When pure oxygen weaves into the oil across many hours of ozone infusion, it develops a signature aroma and flavor. If your ozonated oil doesn't taste like anything, you probably don't have ozonated oil.
This product is designed for swishing and spitting, not for swallowing. If you want to take ozonated olive oil orally, look at our ozone oil capsules instead.
Generally yes, with care. Oil pulling is widely considered safe with crowns, fillings, implants, and dentures. With braces, you can oil pull, but rinse thoroughly afterward so leftover oil doesn't get trapped around the brackets, and don't swish so aggressively that you risk loosening anything. If you've had recent dental work or you're not sure, ask your dentist first.
We don't have a recommended age. Oil pulling involves swishing for 15 minutes without swallowing, which is a lot to ask of a young child. If you want to introduce it to a child, ask your pediatric dentist first.
We don't have testing data specific to pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you're pregnant or nursing, please ask your doctor or OB-GYN before starting.
No. Stores for at least 3 years at room temperature. Refrigeration is fine but not necessary.
Two reasons. The oil itself is significantly more potent than typical competitor products. And it's produced overseas in a certified biotechnology facility using a patented cold-process method that takes much longer than conventional ozonation. You're paying for a higher-grade product.
Yes. Three plant-based ingredients. Nothing else.
Yes. The oil is third-party tested and produced in a facility certified to ISO 22716:2007 (Good Manufacturing Practices for cosmetic ingredients) and ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management). The olive oil itself is COSMOS Certified organic.
A 250mL bottle holds about 50 uses at one tablespoon each. A 500mL bottle holds about 100 uses. How long that lasts you depends on how often you swish.
This product is dosed and flavored for oral use, but we do make ozonated products specifically for topical skin use
