Product Description:

An oxygen tank regulator will allow for control of the flow from the oxygen tank.  These regulators are pediatric to allow for full range on the ozone generators by going down to slow flow rates. The flow of the oxygen regulator is measured by Liters Per Minute (LPM). Ex. 1 LPM means the oxygen tank will be dispensing 1 liter of oxygen every minute. An ozone generator needs slow flow rates such as 1/4 or 1/8 LPM for full functionality. See below for information on the two variations of oxygen tanks.  

What oxygen tank do I need?  How do I get an oxygen tank?

In order to operate the Stratus 2.0 Ozone Generator or Ozonette, you will need an oxygen tank.  There are two options available.  Which oxygen regulator you need depends on the oxygen tank you get.  Either 870 or 540.

• An 870 Oxygen Tank.  This tank requires a prescription first.  Once you have a prescription you can go to a local home-care pharmacy and to get an 870 Oxygen Tank.  Ask for a size between 20-40 cu/ft (as shown in our pictures) if you are uncertain of the size you want.  We recommend the 870 Tank.

• A 540 Industrial Oxygen Tank.  This tank does not require a prescription.  You can find these at companies such as AirGas or Praxair.  Simply request a new tank between 20-40 cu/ft.
